Violent Outbreak at Shalvey Gathering
Emergency services were called to Sedgman Crescent in the suburb of Shalvey just before 10.40pm on Tuesday night. The incident occurred after a fight erupted in a driveway at a party attended by approximately 40 guests.
Upon arrival, paramedics discovered a 17-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds. He was treated at the scene before being rushed to Westmead Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Specialist Police Units Manage Chaotic Scene
Due to the size of the crowd that remained at the location, specialist police resources were deployed to secure the area. Officers from the Public Order and Riot Squad, the Operations Support Group, and the Dog Unit all attended to manage the situation.
Police quickly established a crime scene, which remained cordoned off into Wednesday morning. Detectives and forensic officers were seen conducting a meticulous examination of the area in search of evidence.

The alleged attacker is still at large, and no arrests have been made. Mount Druitt Police have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the violent brawl.
