Rangers will refuse to take the blame entirely on their shoulders for the scenes that followed their Ibrox shame game with Celtic, as they get set to learn their fate after an SFA disciplinary hearing.
The Ibrox side are set to meet with a disciplinary panel on Monday evening after both them and rivals Celtic were hit with charges after the pitch invasion chaos in the wake of last season's Scottish Cup derby.

There were shameful scenes as fans from both ends encroached onto the Ibrox pitch and Celtic had their hearing 11 days ago, with Rangers' delayed due to their Europa League tie with Jagiellonia Bialystok.
Their hearing will take place tonight, with SFA sources indicating results won't be known until Tuesday at the earliest.
Rangers' defence
According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers have accepted the notice of complaint but plan to stand their ground.
They will defend the claims in last month's independent report that Celtic fans invading the pitch from the Broomloan End was the 'trigger point' for the violence that followed.
It's claimed their legal team will lay out a list of mitigating factors, but won't attempt to defend their own fans' actions, having already slammed supporter behaviour in their own statements on the game.
Broomloan End dispute
It's understood they remain unhappy at having been made to hand over the entirety of the Broomloan End to Celtic fans, having previously requested to give Celtic their usual league allocation, only for that to be rejected by the SFA.
The club will learn their fate tonight but the outcome won't be made public until Tuesday morning at the earliest.
