At least five people have died after a school bus plunged 650ft down a slope in Nepal. The victims include three female pupils, one male pupil and a parent who had hitched a ride on the bus, it has been confirmed.
Nineteen people are also said to have been injured in the crash and are now receiving medical treatment.
Crash details
The bus, from Kalika Boarding School, plunged down a slope near Majhathana in Pokhara Metropolitan City-28, just north of the Bijaypur Army barracks, on Friday.
The bus had students from a Nepalese school on board at the time of the incident.
