An inquest has heard how a mother-of-four died after a paint canister exploded when she placed a bin bag on a garden fire.

Ms Marshall began showing significant respiratory failure and was moved to Bristol Royal Infirmary. She died on September 24, around two months after the incident.

In the days following her death, tributes on social media remembered her as a "kind" and "beautiful" mother who "touched the hearts of so many people."

Her family and friends released pink balloons and set off pink fireworks as a memorial on September 25, the day after her death.

Senior Coroner Caroline Saunders said the inquest is due to resume on June 9, 2027, at 11am.
