Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in the head inside a Wetherspoons pub in Sheffield city centre. Officers were called to the Bankers Draft Pub on June 21 at 9:53pm following reports of an assault.
Victim Attacked While Seated
The victim was sitting inside the venue when the attack occurred, according to South Yorkshire Police. Emergency services attended the scene, and the man was treated for a head wound. His condition has not been disclosed, but reports indicate he was stabbed in the head.
CCTV Image Released
Police have now released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a dark hooded top and jeans. Anyone who recognizes him or has information is urged to contact South Yorkshire Police.
