Katie Price has spoken out about her relationship status, insisting she is "content" and not interested in meeting anyone new, after claiming she was banned from the exclusive dating app Raya.
The former glamour model, 48, took to social media to address speculation about her current connections following her split from Lee Andrews. The mum-of-five tied the knot with Andrews in Dubai in January, just days after meeting, but the pair split under a year later.
Katie Price's statement on Instagram
Sharing on Instagram Stories, Katie said: "Just to address my situation. I've been married had the family life. I thought my last marriage was for real and my final destination."
"I'm not interested in meeting anyone else engaging with anyone messaging anyone or going on any dating apps or dates. I'm at a point in my life I'm content happy and love my own company and have fantastic friends and family."
The statement comes after Katie told her sister Sophie about her dating app plight on their podcast. She said: "You know what would be fun to do this week? Join Raya."
Raya ban and cryptocurrency claims
Raya is an exclusive and invite-only celebrity dating app that works on a membership-based platform under strict confidentiality. Katie said: "I've been blocked from Raya because I put the wrong email in, like, a couple of years ago. I don't even know how to unblock it, so if I did want to go and date that is the site I'd want to go on."
It was reported that Katie had dumped Lee via WhatsApp. She claimed to have discovered her man had just £2.22 in his crypto bank account despite his claims he had millions stashed away in cryptocurrency.
Speaking on the Good Morning Britain settee recently, Katie said Lee had humiliated her. When asked about access to a $50 million cryptocurrency account, she said: "He insists there's 50 million US dollars in there. But first of all, for me, as everyone knows, I've never been with a man with money, with me it's never about going with a man with money. I'm self-made, and I have my own money. And with Lee, it's never been about money, right?"
Katie added: "He hasn't scammed me for money, but I feel he has scammed me, and because he fabricated a person that doesn't exist. When you see someone who you think is gorgeous, it's a bonus that he said, 'Yeah, I've got all this and that' because I've never been with a guy [who has lots of money]."
She continued: "So of course, it all sounds attractive, and not only that, I did fall in love with this man. We get on. He's intelligent. We have fun, but it's him who keeps going on [saying], 'I've got this and that.'"
