Dispute over disciplining children

According to villagers, the dispute began when the woman was beating her children. Her brother-in-law and father-in-law are said to have objected before the argument escalated.

The row then reportedly developed into a physical scuffle, during which the woman allegedly attacked her brother-in-law and bit his genitals.

Police investigation launched

Police registered a case against the woman on Saturday following the incident the previous evening. Anuj Kumar, the officer in charge of Sajeti police station, said a case had been registered and police teams had been formed to trace the woman.

Officers are still trying to determine what exactly caused the dispute. The woman lives in the village with her children, brother-in-law and father-in-law, according to the Times of India.
