Emergency services have been scrambled to the scene of a serious crash on the A8 near Edinburgh Airport. Police, paramedics and fire crews are on the road, which is closed in both directions between the Newbridge Roundabout and Gogar.
Vehicles involved and traffic build-up
Pictures from the scene show a number of vehicles appear to have been involved, with some cars appearing to be on their roof. Traffic is rapidly building on approach to the incident.
Airport warning to passengers
Edinburgh Airport has warned passengers of delays on social media as a result of the crash.
