A child was flown to Alder Hey Children's Hospital last night following a serious collision on Dean Road, Wrexham. The crash occurred at around tea-time on September 4 and forced the road to close for several hours while emergency teams attended the scene.
Emergency response and road closure
North Wales Police and paramedics attended the incident, and an air ambulance was deployed, according to North Wales Live. The child was transported to Alder Hey Children's Hospital for treatment.
North Wales Police closed Dean Road from the junction with Borras Road to the roundabout as a result of the incident. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while officers worked to clear the road.
Reopening and ongoing inquiries
The road has since reopened. Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service, and the Wales Air Ambulance service have been approached for comment. Unconfirmed reports suggest the crash may have involved an e-scooter and a car.
