A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man in west London. Awap Halouf, of Hambro Road, Lambeth, faces charges of murder and possession of a blade in a public place.

Incident Details

Police were called to the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road in Hounslow at 1:47 am on Tuesday, June 30, following reports of a stabbing. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service arrived to find Haruun Hassan, a 22-year-old local resident, suffering from serious injuries. Despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Legal Proceedings

Halouf has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, July 7. The charges include murder and possession of a blade in a public place.

Further Arrest

As part of the ongoing investigation, a 21-year-old woman was arrested in Cardiff on Sunday, July 5, on suspicion of murder. She has been bailed pending further enquiries.
