Three people have died and four others were injured in a three-car collision on the Armagh Road near Moy, Co Tyrone, on Saturday night. The PSNI said emergency services were called to the scene at about 10.20pm.
The deceased include two men aged 31 and 48, and a 23-year-old woman, all pronounced dead at the scene. Four other individuals sustained injuries and were taken to hospitals in Craigavon and Belfast.
Assistant Chief Constable Davy Beck confirmed that three vehicles were involved: a red BMW, a grey Volkswagen, and a white Audi. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service dispatched multiple resources, including seven emergency crews and a doctor.
Local politicians expressed shock and condolences. Fermanagh & South Tyrone MLA Diana Armstrong described it as a “very dark day for families who have been plunged into shock and mourning.” SDLP councillor Thomas O’Hanlon extended sympathies to the bereaved and praised emergency responders.
Police are continuing inquiries and urge anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
