Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a serious assault at a residential property in north Belfast on Monday evening, July 20, police have confirmed.
Emergency Response and Arrests
Emergency services were called to the scene on Duncairn Parade shortly before 6pm. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) responded to a report that a man had been assaulted inside the property. Officers remain at the scene into the early hours of Tuesday, according to Belfast Live.
The three arrested men include one in his 30s and two in their 40s. They are currently in police custody and are said to be assisting with enquiries, a PSNI spokesperson stated.

In a statement, the PSNI spokesperson said: "Shortly before 6pm today, Monday 20th July, police received a report that a man had been assaulted inside a residential property. Three men, one aged in his 30s, and two aged in their 40s, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody, assisting with enquiries."
