Fatal A10 Layby Crash: Woman Dies, Driver Arrested

A woman in her sixties has died following a serious collision involving three vehicles on a layby in Hertfordshire. The incident occurred on the A10 between Hertford and Broxbourne and has led to the arrest of a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Details of the Fatal Collision

The crash happened at approximately 8.50am on Monday, January 5. It involved a grey Porsche Cayenne, a red Fiat 500, and a white Volvo Tipper lorry. According to Hertfordshire Constabulary, the Fiat and the Volvo lorry were both stationary on the layby at the time of the incident.

"We are working to establish how the collision occurred and I want to hear from anybody who saw what happened, or the vehicles involved," he stated.

DC Stanley issued a direct appeal to the public: "I would also like to ask that anybody who was driving in the area around that time with a dashcam to please get in touch. Your footage could be important to our enquiries."
