
A joyous wedding celebration at an exclusive New Hampshire country club descended into terror and chaos on Saturday night after a shooting erupted, leaving one man fighting for his life.
The incident occurred at the prestigious Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, a venue typically associated with luxury and celebration. According to police, the shooting took place around 10:30 PM during a wedding reception, shocking guests and staff.
Chaos and Panic at a Celebration
Initial reports from the Nashua Police Department indicate that a physical altercation between two men escalated dramatically. One of the individuals involved allegedly drew a firearm and shot the other.
The victim, a 26-year-old man whose identity has not been released, sustained a single, critical gunshot wound to the torso. He was rushed to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery and remains in a serious condition.
Manhunt for the Suspect
Authorities have confirmed that the suspected shooter, identified as 26-year-old Alex Diaz, fled the scene immediately following the incident. An urgent manhunt is currently underway.
Nashua Police Lieutenant John Borges addressed the media, stating, "We are actively pursuing leads to locate Mr. Diaz. We do not believe this was a random act of violence. The individuals involved were known to each other."
Diaz is considered armed and dangerous. Police are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward immediately and not to approach him.

Guests at the wedding described a scene of utter confusion and fear as the sound of gunfire replaced music and laughter.
"One second we were dancing, the next people were screaming and running for cover, hiding under tables," one attendee recounted. "It was absolute bedlam. You never expect something like this to happen, especially at a wedding."
Police cordoned off the entire country club grounds as forensic teams scoured the scene for evidence well into the early hours of Sunday morning.
