A Nottinghamshire plumber has appeared in court accused of hugging and picking up female customers, facing 12 counts of sexual assault.

Nigel Rowley, 65, of Daybrook, Nottinghamshire, allegedly hugged, picked up and touched his customers over and under clothing. He is also accused of squeezing the face of one of the women.

Allegations span a year

Rowley faces 12 counts of sexual assault against five women while he was working as a plumber and heating engineer between September 2024 and September 2025.
