A 26-year-old man, who is a devoted Lady Gaga fan and former private school pupil, has been arrested and charged over his alleged leading role in a disturbing satanic child abuse network.
Arrest of a 'Little Monster' in Waterloo
Police officers, including members of the riot squad, arrested Landon Ashton Versace Germanotta-Mills at his housing commission unit in Waterloo, in Sydney's inner south, last Thursday. He was led away wearing matching zebra-print shorts and a shirt, attempting to hide his face with a beanie as he was placed into a police van.
The suspect, who legally changed his surname to honour pop star Lady Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta), was educated at the elite Knox Grammar School, where his parents paid up to $42,000 annually for his tuition.
Charges and Alleged Online Network
Germanotta-Mills faced court on Friday and was refused bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Downing Centre on January 29. The charges against him are severe and numerous.
He was charged with multiple child abuse offences, including seven counts of using a carriage service to make child abuse material available, using a carriage service to access child abuse material, and three counts of possessing child abuse data. Further charges include two counts of disseminating bestiality material and possessing bestiality material.
Detectives from the sex crimes squad formed Strike Force Constantine to probe the online distribution of child sexual abuse material with ritualistic or satanic themes. Their investigation uncovered a Sydney-based network allegedly involved in possessing, distributing, and facilitating such material via a website administered internationally.
On the day of the arrest, police executed six search warrants across suburbs including Waterloo, Ultimo, and Malabar.
The 'Independent Journalist' and Gaga Fandom
In his spare time, Germanotta-Mills presented himself as an independent investigative journalist. He founded and ran the Underground Media Network, a Substack page claiming to 'uncover the truth they want buried' and 'chase justice'. The page frequently posted about alleged police corruption and individuals caught with child abuse material.
His fervent admiration for Lady Gaga was well-documented online. He had excitedly posted a screenshot of his Ticketmaster confirmation for her concert at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on December 9, counting down the days. Just over a week before his arrest, he shared a Lady Gaga quote, adding: "Seeing her on my birthday is truly a dream come true."
The stark contrast between his public persona as a 'little monster' – Lady Gaga's term for her fans – and the grave nature of the charges has added a bizarre and disturbing layer to the case, which continues to be investigated by authorities.
