Former Reality Star Faces Serious Allegations
Kieran Hayler, the ex-husband of glamour model and media personality Katie Price, has made his first court appearance after being charged with multiple sexual offences against a child. The 38-year-old personal trainer arrived at Crawley Magistrates' Court facing three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault concerning a 13-year-old girl.
Timeline of Alleged Offences During Marriage
The shocking allegations stem from a period between June 1 and October 13, 2016, when Hayler was married to Katie Price. The couple had wed in 2013 at the luxurious Sandals Royal Bahamian resort in the Bahamas, followed by a wedding blessing in Somerset. They shared two children during their five-year marriage before ultimately separating in 2018.
Sussex Police confirmed the charges last month, stating the alleged offences occurred at an address in West Sussex. Authorities have emphasised that the victim is not related to either Katie Price or Kieran Hayler's families and has received support from specially trained officers throughout the investigation.
Legal Proceedings and Defence Response
Hayler's legal representative issued a strong statement denying all allegations. "Kieran Hayler strongly denies the allegations made against him in its entirety," the representative stated. "Mr Hayler is fully engaged and has been co-operating with the police throughout the investigation and will continue to do so. He looks forward to his name being cleared believing in the judicial system to do so."
The former stripper and reality television personality, who first met Price in 2012 and proposed on Christmas Day that same year, remains released under investigation while legal proceedings continue. His case is scheduled to progress through the judicial system with his next court appearance set for November 19.
