Two Afghan migrants allegedly raped an autistic 14-year-old girl on a busy train, a court has heard. Baryalai Rahimi, 25, and Mirebadurahman Sadat, 29, allegedly took turns abusing the girl on February 5 after following her onto a London-bound Southeastern train at a rural station in Kent.
Alleged attack on train
The pair appeared at London Crown Court accused of raping and sexually abusing the teenager, with one allegedly abusing her in the toilet. Jurors heard the men told the victim: "We share everything, girls, drinks, everything."
As reported by The Sun, footage played to the court shows the girl, who had been reported missing after running away from home, sitting on Rahimi's lap as he appears to touch her chest. He then allegedly continued to hug and kiss her as a ticket inspector walked through the carriage.
Prosecution evidence
Prosecutors claimed he then led her towards the toilet before raping her twice inside the cubicle. The victim later told officers that she was "scared" of Rahimi who was "in control" of her.
CCTV shows Rahimi and the girl sat two rows behind a commuter while Sadat is sitting in a two-seater. Richard Witcombe, prosecuting, said the migrants appeared to "have an object in their hand" to communicate over the phone.
Further allegations and charges
Rahimi then got up and headed towards the toilet as the girl followed. Jurors heard this was when a third alleged rape took place, with the teenager later telling detectives: "He done front sex with me."
The court heard how DNA matching Rahimi was found on the floor of the train toilet, as well as the girl's underwear. Sadat then sat alongside the girl, with Mr Witcombe suggesting the footage appeared "almost as if Mr Rahimi was handing over the girl to Mr Sadat".
The men followed the girl off the train at London Bridge before Sadat boarded a train with her heading towards Peterborough at 4pm. The teenager was then found at Peterborough Station at around 11pm before being taken home by police.
Rahimi, of Southall, west London, denies three counts of rape, two of sexual assault, one of assault by penetration and six alternative counts of sexual activity with a child. Sadat, of Cricklewood, north-west London, denies two counts of assault by penetration, two counts of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent and four alternative counts of sexual activity with a child.
The pair deny a total of 20 charges. The trial is continuing and is expected to last three weeks.
