Drunk Diner's Shocking Sexual Harassment of Stranger in Pizza Express Leads to Court
Drunk Diner Sexually Harasses Man, Assaults Police

A drunken diner's shocking tirade of sexual harassment and violence in a popular pizza restaurant has culminated in a criminal conviction.

Jasmine Ayres, 25, targeted a complete stranger while heavily intoxicated inside a Pizza Express branch in Westminster. The court heard how Ayres' behaviour escalated into a chaotic scene, forcing staff to intervene and ultimately call the police.

Chaos and Assault in the Restaurant

Upon arrival, Metropolitan Police officers attempted to calm the situation and remove Ayres from the premises. However, she turned her aggression towards them, kicking one officer in the leg and attempting to bite another. Her behaviour was described as wildly out of control.

The victim, an innocent man simply trying to enjoy his meal, was subjected to a torrent of unwanted sexual advances from Ayres before the attacks on police occurred.

A Courtroom Conviction

Ayres pleaded guilty to her crimes at Westminster Magistrates' Court. The charges included:

  • Sexual harassment of a stranger
  • Assaulting an emergency worker (a police constable)
  • Being drunk and disorderly in a public place

In addition to her conviction, she was handed a 12-month community order and must complete 80 hours of unpaid work. She was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation to the officer she assaulted and £85 in court costs.

This case serves as a stark reminder that sexual harassment and assault against both members of the public and emergency service workers will be met with the full force of the law.
