A tragic incident has shaken the community of Parramatta after a 41-year-old woman was found dead in what authorities believe to be a domestic violence-related homicide.
Emergency services were called to an apartment complex on Parkes Street around 7:30 pm on Tuesday evening following reports of a concern for welfare. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Prabha Kumar, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Investigation Underway
Detectives from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad have taken charge of the investigation. While formal identification is still pending, police have confirmed they are treating the death as suspicious.
