The community of Westminster, California, is gripped by concern as the search for 21-year-old Emmanuel Haro enters a critical phase. The computer science student was last seen in the early hours of Sunday, 27th October, after leaving a social gathering.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Haro was attending a party near the intersection of Hazard Avenue and Bushard Street. His last known contact was a phone call to a family member around 2 a.m. to arrange a ride home. Tragically, he never arrived at the designated pickup location.
Details of the Disappearance
Emmanuel Haro is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black trousers, and distinctive white shoes. His vehicle, a grey 2013 Honda Civic with the California licence plate 9USL667, is also missing.
His family reported that his sudden disappearance is entirely out of character, causing immense distress and raising serious fears for his welfare.
Search Efforts Underway
Law enforcement has launched a large-scale operation, utilising drones, K-9 units, and door-to-door enquiries. Volunteers have also organised ground searches in the area where his phone was last detected.
Authorities are urgently appealing to the public for assistance. They are asking local residents and businesses to review any security or doorbell camera footage that might have captured Haro or his vehicle in the vicinity during the early hours of Sunday morning.
"We are utilising every resource at our disposal to find Emmanuel and bring him home safely to his family," a spokesperson for the Sheriff's Department stated.
