Two boys seriously hurt in e-scooter crash in Paisley

Two children have been hospitalised with serious injuries following a horrific e-scooter crash on a town's main street. Emergency services were called to the scene on High Street in Paisley at approximately 9:15 PM on Monday, June 8. Upon arrival, crews discovered two boys, aged 10 and 12, suffering from severe injuries.

Incident Details

The boys were immediately transported to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, where their current condition remains unknown. Sergeant Adnan Alam has issued an appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly those who saw the boys on the e-scooter at the time of the crash or observed them falling from the vehicle, to contact police without delay.

Police Appeal

Authorities are also urging anyone with dash cam footage or CCTV recordings that may have captured the incident to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3326 of June 8, 2026.
