Shocking CCTV: Teenager Shot in Neck During Motorcycle Gathering
Teenager Shot in Neck During Motorcycle Gathering

Shocking footage has emerged showing the moment a 19-year-old teenager was shot in the neck during a mass motorcycle gathering in West London. The gunman, Emad Al-Haj Shareef, 22, was captured on CCTV approaching his victim on a motorbike before firing at close range and speeding away.

Details of the Attack

The incident occurred on 23 August 2025 at a gathering of hundreds of bikers. The victim, who has not been named, was seen walking across a road seemingly unaware of the danger before attempting to duck and stumbling. Wearing a motorcycle helmet, he staggered behind a car and ran out of frame. A bullet lodged in his neck, and he was later taken to Hillingdon Hospital.

Police body-worn footage showed the teenager being carried into the hospital, where staff alerted officers after the victim claimed he had been shot.

Investigation and Conviction

Shareef, from Hounslow, West London, was found guilty of attempted murder on Monday and sentenced to 27 years in jail at Kingston Crown Court. Detective Constable Paulina Rosol, who led the investigation, said: “This case displays the consequences of gun violence, which can spill out onto our streets.

“Shareef went as far as to hide the weapon he used in a stolen vehicle, from which officers also seized the jacket he wore during the attack. This jacket was later found to have gunshot residue on it, directly implicating Shareef and shattering his facade of innocence.

“Last year alone we saw a 75 per cent increase in the number of firearms taken off London’s streets. We will continue to target those who carry them and use violence to threaten our communities.”

Evidence and Arrest

A combination of CCTV footage and witness evidence helped officers identify Shareef as the shooter. He was arrested the following day and charged with attempted murder. The pistol used in the attack and a magazine were found in a stolen vehicle, which was also seized. Phone and social media analysis placed Shareef at the scene, and a Snapchat video he uploaded earlier that day recorded the gathering at Piccadilly Circus.
