Dispatcher Audio Reveals Husband's Concerns
According to audio from a dispatcher exchange, a husband reported that his wife left with their baby in a 2017 white Toyota Forerunner. The dispatcher, who did not use specific names, stated that the husband believed his wife was under the influence of narcotics because she refused to take a drug test to prove otherwise.
Relationship Background
Edwards and Conner began their relationship three years ago while both were patients at a drug rehab facility in Chattanooga. They married in September 2025 in Hamilton County, Tennessee, just weeks after Edwards' divorce from ex-wife Mackenzie Standifer, 29, was finalized.
Edwards and Standifer, who wed in 2017, share son Jagger, seven, and daughter Stella, six. Edwards also has a son, Bentley, 17, with ex Maci Bookout, while Conner has a son named Brandon from a past relationship.
Recent Family Milestones
Edwards and Conner announced their engagement in January 2025 and welcomed daughter Presley Sage Elianna on February 12, 2025. At the time, the couple told People, 'Today is the day we welcomed our gift from God, Presley Sage Elianna Edwards. We are truly blessed to welcome this beautiful healthy baby girl into our family.'
They added, 'We have worked so hard to reach our goals and build a new life with all of our children. We are looking forward to being a healthy happy family and are just deeply thankful for everyone’s love and support.'
In October 2024, Conner told People that she and Edwards were 'very excited' about the pregnancy. 'We have overcome so much in the last year and a half, and we are in a very happy, safe place,' she said. 'For me, I can enjoy this pregnancy and I have a second chance at motherhood. For Ryan, he is in a place that he hasn't been in for a long time. We are excited to move forward from our past mistakes.' Conner noted that they have 'a great support system with family and friends.'
