Police Raid Home of 'Majorca's Fritzl' in Horrific Sex Slave Case
Police Raid Home of 'Majorca's Fritzl' Sex Slave Case

Spanish police have raided the property of a man described as 'Majorca's Fritzl,' who kept his stepdaughter as a sex slave in a house of horrors featuring a 'punishment cellar.' The 51-year-old Spaniard, identified only as JLL, was sentenced to 34 years in prison for trafficking, sexual abuse of a minor, producing abuse material, and violating her privacy.

The Raid

Footage shows officers using a ladder to scale a wall before storming the home in central Majorca. The victim, now 17, was raped daily for five years and held in a secret cellar. The case has drawn comparisons to Austrian Josef Fritzl, who imprisoned and raped his daughter for years.

Background of Abuse

The abuse began in 2015 when JLL traveled to Nigeria. The victim was seven years old and living in extreme poverty with her single mother and two sisters. The Spaniard posed as a generous benefactor, offering a better life. According to the court ruling, 'The minor, who had never met a Caucasian person, was captivated by the improved quality of life and developed emotional dependence on him.'

JLL married the mother in a sham marriage to bring her to Spain. During visa visits, he groomed the child, showing her pornography and demanding sexual images from age eight. In November 2019, when the mother and daughter arrived in Europe, he separated them, bringing the girl to a rural property in Majorca.

Forced Contracts and Abuse

The victim was forced to sign bogus contracts pledging daily sex and domestic work. JLL threatened that her younger sisters would not come to Spain if she refused. The abuse continued until she turned 17, occurring even when she cried or slept.
