Shocking CCTV footage has been released by Metropolitan Police after a good samaritan was brutally attacked and left with a broken jaw when he intervened to help a woman being harassed in central London.
The vicious assault occurred near Oxford Street on Saturday, June 8th, around 2:30 am, when the 27-year-old victim saw a woman being pestered by an unknown man and stepped in to assist.

In a disturbing turn of events, the harasser returned with another man who launched a savage attack on the good samaritan. The victim was punched multiple times in the face during the unprovoked assault.
The attack left the victim with serious facial injuries including a broken jaw, requiring immediate medical treatment that continues to this day.
Police Appeal for Witnesses

The Metropolitan Police have released clear CCTV images of a man they urgently want to identify and speak with in connection with the assault.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who might recognise the individual captured in the newly released footage.
