The desperate search for a missing Bristol student has entered its fourth agonising day, with his heartbroken mother making an emotional public plea for information.
Jack O'Sullivan, 23, was last seen in the early hours of Saturday, 2nd March, after leaving a gathering near the Brunel Lock road in the Hotwells area of the city. The architecture student vanished without a trace after reportedly leaving the party at approximately 3:15 AM.
His mother, Rachel O'Sullivan, has spoken out through her tears, describing the last few days as an "absolute living nightmare." In a direct appeal to the public, she begged: "If anybody knows anything, if anybody has seen him, if anybody has any information at all, please, please come forward."
Disappearance After Social Gathering
Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that Jack was socialising with friends before his disappearance. He was captured on CCTV in the Brunel Lock area around the time he left the party. Despite extensive searches by police, family, and friends, there has been no sign of him since.
Described as "kind, gentle, and loving," Jack's sudden vanishing is completely out of character, intensifying concerns for his welfare. His mother emphasised this point, stating that not knowing where he is "is the worst feeling in the world."
Extensive Police Search Underway
Police have been conducting thorough land and water searches in the Hotwells and harbourside areas. A police helicopter was deployed over the weekend to aid in the operation. Investigators are urging local residents and businesses to check their CCTV, doorbell cameras, and dashcam footage for any possible sightings of Jack.
Jack is described as a white male, approximately 5' 10" tall, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a navy blue Barbour jacket, navy tracksuit bottoms, and trainers.
