A mother is leading a desperate search for her missing 14-year-old son, who was last seen in a Tesco car park in North Devon. Taylor Charlton has not been seen since 8 May, and his disappearance has prompted extensive efforts by Devon and Cornwall Police, as well as local volunteers.
Mother's Ordeal
Zoe Harvey, Taylor's mother, has been tirelessly searching the area around Barnstaple. During a recent search through river reeds, she suffered cuts and collapsed from exhaustion. Community members have rallied to support the family, assisting in the ongoing search.
Police Investigation
CCTV footage captured Taylor walking towards the River Taw after leaving a Tesco Extra store. Specialist teams, drones, and a helicopter have been deployed to search the river and estuary. Shoes believed to belong to Taylor were discovered on the riverbank, approximately 480 metres apart. Police continue to review CCTV footage and conduct house-to-house enquiries.
Taylor is described as 5ft 8ins tall with dark brown hair. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact them on 999, quoting reference 50260117084.
