The Sun has reported it has had sight of a letter sent to the Metropolitan Police in 2018 warning that Thomas Markle Snr was a child abuser. The report comes after Meghan Markle claimed she cut ties with her father following the letter being passed to her after her wedding to Prince Harry.
Met Police Unable to Confirm Letter
The Met Police said today they were unable to confirm whether any letter had ever been shared with Meghan Markle. However, The Sun has said it has seen the letter, according to new reports.
Thomas Markle has denied all of the claims against him.
Questions Raised Over Police Action
One source said: “Questions must be asked about whether the Met ever acted on the information in the letter.”
“They promised Meghan they were investigating but nothing seems to have been done at all,” the source added.
