Police have launched a manhunt after two teenage girls were allegedly raped on a popular beach in Great Yarmouth.
Norfolk Police were called to South Beach Parade just after 12:30 am on Saturday following reports that two teenagers had been raped. Officers attended the scene and a cordon was put in place, which has since been lifted.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of rape in Northamptonshire on Sunday and remains in custody at King's Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning. A second suspect is still being sought.
The force described the outstanding suspect as a white man with short dark hair and dark facial hair, aged in his 30s or 40s. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark green jacket with a white stripe on both sleeves.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
