Bedfordshire Police have issued an urgent public appeal following a violent daylight attack in Luton, releasing stark CCTV images of a suspect they are desperate to identify.
The incident occurred on Old Bedford Road at approximately 3:15 pm on Thursday, 25 April. A man was reportedly assaulted and robbed in a brazen attack that has shocked the local community.
Investigating officers have now released a clear CCTV still of a man they believe holds vital information about the assault. The image shows the suspect wearing a distinct black puffer jacket with a large white logo on the chest, grey tracksuit bottoms, and a black beanie hat.
Appeal for Witnesses
Police are urging anyone who was in the vicinity of Old Bedford Road around the time of the incident to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who might recognise the individual from the released photograph.
