Bedfordshire Police have issued an urgent public appeal following a violent daylight attack in Luton, releasing stark CCTV images of a suspect they are desperate to identify.

The incident occurred on Old Bedford Road at approximately 3:15 pm on Thursday, 25 April. A man was reportedly assaulted and robbed in a brazen attack that has shocked the local community.

Investigating officers have now released a clear CCTV still of a man they believe holds vital information about the assault. The image shows the suspect wearing a distinct black puffer jacket with a large white logo on the chest, grey tracksuit bottoms, and a black beanie hat.
