A Dutch passenger has found himself in legal trouble after allegedly assaulting a Filipino flight attendant with hot sauce during a flight to Manila. The incident, which occurred mid-air, escalated into a physical altercation, prompting the crew to restrain the man until the plane landed.
According to reports, the confrontation began when the flight attendant asked the passenger to follow safety protocols. The situation quickly turned hostile, culminating in the Dutchman allegedly hurling a bottle of hot sauce at the attendant. The crew intervened, and the passenger was restrained for the remainder of the flight.
Upon arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, local authorities arrested the man. He now faces charges of physical assault and unruly behaviour on an aircraft. If convicted, he could be fined or even imprisoned under Philippine aviation laws.
