
A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in South London. Damian Poole, 41, of no fixed address, is accused of killing 40-year-old Daniel Kearney in Thornton Heath.
The incident occurred on Sunday, 21 July, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Despite their efforts, Mr. Kearney was pronounced dead at the scene.
Poole was subsequently arrested and has now been formally charged by authorities. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place to determine the exact cause of death.
The accused is remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court to face the murder charge. The investigation, led by the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command, remains ongoing.
