The cargo train struck an orange bus at the front of the queue, dragging several nearby vehicles along the tracks before the bus became engulfed in flames. Emergency services from the Erawan Medical Center confirmed that at least eight fatalities were recorded, with over 20 individuals sustaining injuries.

Videos shared on social media captured the harrowing moment of impact. The footage shows the train hitting the bus, which then bursts into flames. Several motorcycles and their riders were thrown onto the road as a result of the collision. Later videos depict rescuers entering the charred bus after the flames were brought under control.
