‘Blood-Chilling’ 999 Call Reveals Freezer Body Horror

A disturbing 999 call has been revealed as the moment police uncovered a woman’s body hidden inside a freezer, with the operator describing the scene as ‘blood-chilling’.

The call, played in court, captured the horrifying discovery at a flat in Canning Town, East London, where officers found the remains of 38-year-old Henriett Szucs. The victim had been missing for three years before her body was discovered in 2019.

Gruesome Details Emerge in Court

Zahid Younis, 36, was convicted of Ms Szucs’ murder as well as the killing of another woman, 34-year-old Mihrican Mustafa, whose body was found in the same freezer. The court heard how Younis had dismembered Ms Mustafa’s body and attempted to dissolve it in acid.

Prosecutors described Younis as a ‘violent and controlling individual’ who preyed on vulnerable women. The victims, both of whom had connections to him, were reported missing years before their bodies were found.

‘I’ve Found a Body in the Freezer’

The chilling 999 call, made by a maintenance worker who stumbled upon the grim scene, revealed the moment police realised the scale of the horror. The operator can be heard saying, ‘It’s blood-chilling, to be honest’, as officers confirmed the discovery.

Younis, who showed no emotion as the verdict was read, will be sentenced at a later date. The case has sent shockwaves through the community, raising questions about how the victims’ disappearances went unnoticed for so long.
