Armed police were called to a residential street in Staffordshire after a fight broke out between two XL Bullies, resulting in a man being bitten.
Incident Details
The incident occurred on Milton Grove at approximately 6:35pm on Thursday. Staffordshire Police confirmed that the two fighting dogs were sedated and taken to a secure police kennel. Two additional dogs were also removed from the property.
Police Response
Officers received a 999 call reporting that two XL Bullies were fighting in the front garden of a home. The dogs then bit a man who was with them. Armed officers were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the dogs were contained inside the house and safely sedated.
The bitten man was assessed at the scene. His injuries were not serious, and he declined medical treatment.
Both of the fighting dogs were transported to a secure police kennel for assessment. Two other dogs found inside the house were also taken to a police kennel.
Investigation
