West London was thrown into a state of high alert on Tuesday as armed police descended upon Stamford Bridge following reports of a male brandishing what appeared to be a firearm.
The dramatic incident, which unfolded in the shadows of Chelsea Football Club's iconic stadium, triggered a massive emergency response and sent shockwaves through the affluent borough of Fulham.
