Detectives have launched an appeal for information following a violent assault and robbery in New Stevenston, Lanarkshire. The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 PM on Thursday, May 28, on Carfin Street.

Details of the Incident

A 24-year-old man was approached by three men, one of whom was accompanied by a dog. The suspects assaulted the victim and stole personal items. During the attack, the dog also inflicted injuries on the man.

Detective Constable Josh Ellwood stated: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us. We'd also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward."
