Former Scotland and Ipswich striker Alan Brazil has disclosed that he recently underwent a "life-saving operation," following a period of absence from his TalkSport radio show due to health concerns. The 66-year-old broadcaster shared the news on social media on Monday morning, expressing deep gratitude to the medical team who cared for him.
Recovery and Gratitude
Brazil stated that he is currently concentrating on his private recovery and expects it will take some time before he returns to full health. He also extended thanks to his family and close friends for their unwavering support during this challenging time.
His message was read aloud on TalkSport's Breakfast Show by former Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling, who acknowledged Brazil's long-standing presence on the station since its inception in 2000.
