Greater Manchester Police have launched a full investigation after deeply offensive antisemitic graffiti was discovered daubed on the constituency office of Shadow Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
The disturbing incident, which occurred in Manchester, has been condemned by community leaders and political figures across the spectrum. The vandalism targeted the Labour MP's premises with messages containing clear antisemitic references.
Community Leaders Express Outrage
The Community Security Trust (CST), a charity protecting British Jews from antisemitism, confirmed they are supporting police with their enquiries. A CST spokesperson stated they are "aware of this incident and are liaising with Greater Manchester Police."
Local residents expressed shock at the discovery, with many describing the graffiti as "sickening" and "completely unacceptable" in a modern, multicultural city like Manchester.
