A 30-year-old Florida woman, Reagan Cox, has claimed that the four grams of cocaine found concealed in her buttocks during a jail intake must have been left there during an “intimate encounter.” Cox was arrested on Saturday for resisting arrest during a traffic stop in Brevard County. Upon arrival at Brevard County Jail, corrections officers noticed something abnormal about her “lower region,” according to the sheriff’s office.
Discovery of Cocaine at Jail
Corrections deputies escorted Cox to a changing room, where she attempted to shield her buttocks with her hand. When she eventually removed her hand, a bag containing 3.8 grams of cocaine allegedly fell out. The sheriff’s office released a statement on Facebook, saying, “You really just can’t make this stuff up … butt you sure can try as this one puts the ole … ’those are not my pants’ excuse to shame!!”
Defense and Charges
Cox denied knowing about the drugs, telling deputies that someone could have placed the cocaine there during an “intimate encounter.” She was charged with an additional count of bringing contraband into a detention facility. Despite the incident, she was released from custody the same day. The sheriff’s office added, “Folks, if not realising that someone left cocaine in your ‘Jail Purse’ is not a good enough reminder to not do drugs, then I don’t know what is!!”

Earlier this year, a UK man, Ryan Fisher, was caught with £7,000 worth of cocaine stuffed up his bottom after bizarrely informing police of his secret hiding place. Fisher, described as “extremely paranoid,” was detained after erratic behavior at a Co-op store. He asked an officer to escort him to the toilet, where he produced a handful of cash from his trousers. The twice-convicted drug dealer thanked the judge and said “take care” as he was imprisoned again.
