A stalker who targeted James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli for a decade has been handed an indefinite hospital order after she said he forced her to sell her family home. Daniel Wilson, 37, broke into Ms Broccoli's home in 2016, leaving her so fearful that she sold the property where she had lived for 20 years, Southwark Crown Court heard.

Details of the Harassment Campaign

The court heard Wilson later breached a restraining order by leaving threatening Valentine's Day voicemails saying, 'I've got murder on my mind', and by posting Ms Broccoli's contact details alongside abusive messages online. The harassment campaign spanned 10 years, causing significant distress to the film producer.

Impact on Barbara Broccoli

Ms Broccoli, known for producing the James Bond film series, described how the stalking forced her to leave a home she had lived in for two decades. The indefinite hospital order means Wilson will be detained in a secure psychiatric facility until deemed no longer a threat.
