Greek police have launched an investigation after two British women, both aged 18, alleged they were raped by the same man while on holiday in Zante. The women said they met the man, who works in a tourist area of the island, during their holiday, according to local reports.
Medical Examination and Family Response
The teenagers underwent a medical examination in hospital as police looked into the reports. The mother of one of the women reportedly travelled to the island after learning of the allegations and confronted the suspect at his workplace.
According to local media outlet Ethnos, the woman then attacked the man. Police were called to the scene, and those involved were taken to the police station.
Criminal Case Filed
A criminal case is being filed against the suspect, Ethnos reports. Authorities are continuing to investigate the women's allegations.
