Police have named a teenage boy who died after being found seriously injured in Glasgow as Jack Mellon. The 17-year-old died following an alleged disturbance in the Ashgill Road area of Milton on Wednesday night, October 14.
Death treated as murder
Emergency crews raced to the incident, but Jack sadly died at the scene. Following a post-mortem examination, his death is now being treated as murder.
Arrest and charge
A 22-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has now been charged. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.
