Police to Interview Giuffre Family in Andrew Probe

Thames Valley Police are reportedly preparing to travel to the United States to interview the family of Virginia Giuffre, the deceased Epstein victim who accused Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of sexual assault. The move is part of an ongoing investigation into the disgraced royal, who was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office at his Sandringham home.

Giuffre's Allegations and Epstein Connection

Virginia Giuffre alleged that she was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein in 2001 when she was 17. She claimed that Andrew forced her to have sex with him on three occasions when she was a teenager. Epstein, a convicted paedophile sex trafficker, died in prison in 2019. Giuffre was influential in his downfall and later sued Andrew, who denied ever meeting her but settled out of court for an estimated £12 million.

Family Interviews and Investigation Scope

According to The Times, officers are expected to speak with Sky and Amanda Roberts, Virginia's brother and sister-in-law. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied all wrongdoing regarding his connection to Epstein and Giuffre. The investigation also includes assessing allegations of fraud, corruption, bullying, and perverting justice during Andrew's tenure as trade envoy from 2001 to 2011.

Thames Valley Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright stated: "There's a number of aspects of alleged misconduct that the investigation is examining. We are speaking to a range of witnesses and want anyone with information to get in touch with us."

Family's Emotional Response

Following Andrew's arrest, Giuffre's family issued an emotional statement, saying: "At last, today, our broken hearts have been lifted at the news that no one is above the law, not even royalty. On behalf of our sister, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, we extend our gratitude to the UK's Thames Valley Police for their investigation, and the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. He was never a prince. For survivors everywhere, Virginia did this for you."

Ongoing Investigation and Document Releases

Police have urged all victims and survivors of Jeffrey Epstein to come forward. Since December, the US Justice Department has released more than three million documents and videos related to Epstein. The investigation into Andrew continues, with authorities examining multiple aspects of alleged misconduct.
