The family of a mother-of-four found dead in Bolton has paid tribute to her after a man was charged with her murder.
Emma McGowan, 39, was discovered unresponsive at a property on Yewdale Avenue in Breightmet at around 3.15am on Tuesday morning (August 4). She was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a statement issued through Greater Manchester Police, her family said: "A much-loved daughter and adored mother to four young children. Our hearts are broken and we will miss you forever."

Charged with murder
Joseph Webb, 36, of Yewdale Avenue, has been charged with murder. He has been remanded into custody and was due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today (August 6).
