A train is on fire at Clapham Junction, causing disruption to Southern and Gatwick Express services between Balham and London Victoria.
Lines Blocked and Service Changes
Southern said both lines between Balham and Clapham Junction are blocked until further notice, while trains are unable to stop at Wandsworth Common or Battersea Park. Gatwick Express has also warned passengers that some lines are closed between Balham and London Victoria.
Delays Expected Until 3pm
National Rail says Southern services may be delayed by at least 15 minutes or revised, with disruption currently expected until 3pm.
Passengers have been advised to allow at least 20 minutes extra for their journeys and may need to use alternative routes. Southern said it is working with the fire brigade to extinguish the blaze as quickly as possible.
