Merseyrail services between Hillside and Hall Road on the Southport line have been suspended after a person is believed to have been hit by a train near Freshfield. Emergency services are currently dealing with the incident.
Services affected
Train services remain in operation between Southport and Hillside and between Hall Road and Liverpool Central. Rail replacement buses have been requested in both directions, although they are not in operation yet.
Tickets are being accepted on Arriva bus services in the area.
