Services on several Merseyrail lines are disrupted this evening, with changes made to a broken-down train on the Southport line. A rail replacement bus service is being organised to run between Sandhills and Hall Road.
Welfare incident at Bootle Oriel Road
On the Ormskirk and Headbolt Lane lines, disruption is expected until 6pm due to a welfare incident at Bootle Oriel Road. This adds to the cancellation of services between Hunts Cross and Moorfields this week because of major engineering works.
