A Ryanair flight from Krakow to Bristol descended into chaos on November 11 when a reportedly intoxicated passenger refused to sit down and clashed with crew members as the aircraft prepared to land. The incident was captured on video by fellow traveller Kacper Bujak, showing the man shouting expletives at flight attendants and struggling with security staff who attempted to restrain him.
According to Mr Bujak, the same passenger had been disruptive on a previous flight from Bristol to Krakow a week earlier, drinking heavily, using foul language, and behaving inappropriately toward a young woman. The man allegedly continued his unruly behaviour through border control upon arrival in Poland.
On the return journey, the man initially appeared composed, even greeting Mr Bujak with 'Do you remember me?' However, after consuming alcohol on board, his conduct deteriorated. Fellow passengers reportedly asked him to lower his voice due to children present, but this only sparked further confrontations.
As the aircraft approached landing, the passenger refused to be seated, forcing the captain to delay the descent. Mr Bujak told Newsflare: 'The man was loud most of the time. As soon as he had a drink, he started his mischief and acting up.'
The video ends with passengers disembarking, but Mr Bujak confirmed that police took over an hour to remove the individual, causing delays to the plane's subsequent scheduled flight back to Krakow. A Ryanair spokesperson said: 'Crew on this flight called ahead for police assistance after an individual passenger became disruptive. Police met the aircraft upon arrival at Bristol and removed this disruptive passenger. Ryanair has a strict zero tolerance policy towards passenger misconduct.'
